I have finally reached a limit when it comes to Flickr. They have decided to block my account because some content was not “flagged” properly. This, by the way, was in more than one closeup, yes closeups… So I had to come to a decision when it comes to my content in specific social medias and this is the best place to write this post.
After attempting to solve the issue, they still kept saying my account needed revision, and when attempting to make any of the proposed changes to the examples they provided, I got an error or a message that I was not allowed to make changed to content flagged by them, which led me to the decision to mass delete my content.
That’s right. 90% of my content on Flickr is now gone and I will be reverting to a free account now, this means of course all my NSFW and moderate content will be limited to Primfeed, Bluesky, Instagram and this blog. I will only post closeups of the content on Flickr from this point forward I will mark all my Flickr posts as: “please refer to my socials for further information.” And no hyperlinks will be used on Flickr under any circumstance.
I understand some of my sponsors require Flickr as a mandatory social which is why I will keep it but since it will be very limited and will exclusively be SFW, aka vanilla content (especially if you know my content). To those sponsors I will sadly lose due to this decision, I thank you immensely from the bottom of my heart for the time and solidarity you’ve shown me in all the time we shared and looking forward to support you as a customer now.
Furthermore, Flickr will be removed from my main websites and my carrd and linktree as I will no longer consider them a place I’ll post consistently.
You will still be able to check out my content on my normal, not elitist to SL users, platforms, and I hope we will keep on growing together.
