This weekend I got an invite to an awards ceremony by the SL Video Creators group in SL and I asked Tristyn (owner of PANIQ and dear dear friend) to go along with me.
This was the not my first major SL award show, but it was probably the first I have been invited and nominated since I left the Fashion world in 2011 and boy was it awkward.
While most of the awards and the show was interesting, somethings definitely were just weird, from the extremely crowded red carpet to the fact there seemed to be no show runner, it was weird.
I was definitely glad to have someone I trusted around and I actually enjoyed a lot of the nominees content, discovering new people to look out for and seeing some likeminded individuals.
While I do not think this world of awards and ceremonies is really for me anymore (I walked away from Fashion Ceremonies and events for a reason) it has certainly reignited my itch to go back to being an event organizer and show runner, so LOOK OUT! More things are coming.
